This summer our board members Jan Heerkens and Edwin Somers went to Sri Lanka for a working visit. Edwin stayed there for two weeks. Jan and his family visited Sri Lanka for a period of six weeks. During this working visit they will visit a number of projects. After their visit the information about this trip and the projects will be added to our website.
We have updated a lot of projectpages. See: Projects 2010.
During the working visit of Jan Heerkens this summer, we visited many sponsor children. Many of these children made a drawing for their sponsor families. We have placed several of these drawings in a photo-album. Click on the item "Drawings" in het menu "Photo-albums".
Using the flags in the upper right corner (just underneath the option "Sitemap") or the flags in the section "Language Selection" will give you access to the English or Dutch content of our site. You can switch language on any part of our website. Only the option "Working Visits" will be in Dutch only. Some parts of the site are not completed yet. We are working on more translations now. They will be added as soon as possible. |

Welcome to our site
 Welcome to the website of the Foundation van Hand tot Hand. Through this website we provide all sponsors, donors, and interested people to date information about our work in Sri Lanka.
The colours on our website symbolize our work. Red and orange represent the colours of the flag of Sri Lanka and of course the orange colour of the Netherlands, while blue refers to the sea around the island of Sri Lanka.
On our website we keep an overview of all projects, we also have pictures included. In the photo albums you see pictures of long-term projects. You can access them via the menu.
