Foundation van Hand tot Hand

The foundation was invited on 12 March to receive the proceedings of the sales exhibition. Jan and I went to St.-Oedenrode where first of all the money was being transferred to the acount of the foundation in presence of two children of the deceased artist.

After that we went to the house of the widow where the amount symbolically was hand over by means of the represented cheque. Jan gave an extensive explanation of the aim of the foundation to the widow and both the children and gave them an idea of how we work. Especially the care for good education and schooling was well received by this family. It was decided that the proceedings of the action (€ 8.500,--) will be spent on an education- or schoolingproject.

The board members who go to Sri Lanka this summer, will explore whether a proper project is available.
Of course we will keep the family informed about the developments.
