Foundation van Hand tot Hand

In Hingurakgoda in the north-eastern part of Sri Lanka, we have visited a girls’ home for several years now. The first time we came here, the home  was in a miserable state. The interior was neglected and the roof was leaking. Thanks to various sponsors, we have restored the home.  Especially Netty and Peter Dobbelsteen maintained contact with this home on behalf of the foundation Van Hand tot Hand.
The girls are always happy to see Peter and Netty. They bring along some small gifts and make it a pleasant day. They found out that most girls never had experienced a little trip. Thanks to some sponsors, they rented a bus and visited the Botanical Gardens in Kandy and provided  a delicious lunch. For the girls, their coaches and Peter and Netty it became an unforgettable day.
