On Saturday, March 28th 2009, we invited all volunteers of our foundation in the "House of the World" in Tilburg. The House of the World at the Spoorlaan in Tilburg is a unique meeting ground for multicultural and global awareness. A source of inspiration for people who are committed to a tolerant and sustainable world. For us an ideal location for the volunteers to meet. These volunteers promote our work and they are committed to work on a sustainable and tolerant society in Sri Lanka. The morning was mainly devoted to sharing experiences. In the past 15 years a lot has happened within the foundation. Together we talked about many of the main events from the last years. We also shared our memories of Sjaak Berben, who, in many respects, was our teacher. He influenced all of us. After this meeting we enjoyed lunch in a restaurant where they serve world cuisine. A valuable morning which will be continued in the future, for sure. Pictures:
