Aan het begin van dit jaar kregen we per mail een verzoek van onze lokale projectmanager:

I hope you all doing fine. These days is a bit hot in Sri Lanka and some people have a headache because of heat. But next month it will change. Last time when we visit to Bosath Boys ' Home it was changed a lot, now it is in a better condition. because one retired couple is looking after the place very well. So in this home one Boy Gayan he has hearing matter. They got letter from General Hospital I sending you with mail. For this equipment I heard it will cost Rs.15000/= if you can find a sponsor this hearing equipment will be very nice.

Onze vrijwilligers Peter en Netty Dobbelsteen onderhouden namens de stichting Van Hand tot Hand de contacten met het Bosath Boys’ Home in Hingurakgoda. Zij vonden zelf een sponsor om dit verzoek in te willigen.
